One Year Ago Today (4 months)

This was supposed to get posted yesterday, but life happened.

Dear Baby G,

One year ago today we saw you for the first time.

You appeared as an empty sac on the ultrasound screen. Too early to know for sure you were developing properly, but late enough to know something was happening inside of me.

One year ago seems so much longer to me. I think back on all the anxiety I felt during my pregnancy and wonder why I even felt it in the first place. Deep down I knew you would be our take home baby, but I still couldn't help but be scared of losing you too.

Looking back, I am so happy I made your Daddy try for you one more time. If I hadn't I really don't think you would be here today, celebrating your 4 month birthday.
