Wednesday Weigh-In: 12 Weeks Postpartum
1. Reiterate my goal and where I stand in reference to this goal. (BMI info from this website)
Starting weight: 149 (Down from 168 the day before I gave birth to Baby G.)
Goal Weight: 125
Last Week's Weight: 148
Current Weight: 150
Starting BMI: 27.2
Goal BMI: 22.9
Last Week's BMI: 27.1
Current BMI: 27.4
2. Discuss what I am going to do to achieve my goals.
Progress on last week's activities:
Yeaaahh... I slacked big time this week and the numbers show it.
Activities for this coming week:
1. Twenty minute walk 2 times this week.
2. Eat a home cooked meal 3 times this week.
3. Snack on veggies and fruit instead of cookies and brownies.
4. Drink at least 8oz of water each after each nursing/pumping session.
4. Post a (reasonably healthy) recipe that I've tried, a cooking tip, a new idea for working out for people to try, a photo update of my weight loss, or anything else I feel like sharing.
I did it! I registered for pole dancing class at the studio near my house. I did this for several years before I got pregnant the first time. Between my first pregnancy, recovering from the D&C and getting pregnant again, it's been about a year since I've danced and I miss it dreadfully.
It is such a great work out! I so very highly recommend it. I was so toned at the end of my first year! And so confident. It's amazing how something that is seen as skeezy (it isn't!) can be such a confidence booster. But it is and after the last year an a half that I've had, I need confidence pick-me-up. My class starts next week, so I'll be adding it to my list of activities then. And since I paid for the class, I have to go, so I should have one guaranteed work-out day each week.
*happy dance!*

That's what I love about WWW...it keeps you accountable and gets you to jump back on the wagon. That class sounds awesome!
